实习

实习 can be taken for either 2 or 4 credits; internships that are 11-12 hours or more per week are eligible for 4 credits. Two credit internships must be taken 通过/失败.  Four-credit internships can be taken either 通过/失败 or for a letter 年级.

One internship taken for a letter 年级 can count for elective credit for the 英语 主要. 实习 for the 新闻 and Editing & 出版 or Creative Writing minors can be taken 通过/失败. 看到我们的 Courses and Requirements page for more information on distribution and credits. 

All students earning credit for an internship must complete weekly journal entries. Students earning 2- credit 通过/失败 internship must complete a 2-3 page reflection 纸. Students with a 4-credit 通过/失败 internship must complete a 4-5 page reflection 纸. Students earning a 年级 for the internships must complete a 7-8 page reflection 纸 that includes at least 2 secondary sources, which will be chosen in consultation with the Internship coordinator.
